Getting Tested for COVID-19
Find out where to get your COVID-19 test in the Bangor area. Below is a list of local testing sites and details about how to arrange your testing.
- Remember that testing volumes can cause delays in scheduling tests and in receiving results.
- Please make sure you plan ahead if and when you need to be tested.
- If you are exposed to a confirmed positive COVID-19 individual within 6 feet or less for 15 minutes or more over a 24 hour period with or without a mask, quarantine until you can take a test.
- If you take a test because of possible exposure to COVID-19, make plans for quarantining while you wait for test results.
Keep in mind that test results are most accurate five days after you’ve been exposed to COVID-19. If you are tested too early, or too late, your test results may not be accurate and if not in quarantine, you could be unknowingly spreading the virus.
